As a senior myself, I recognize the value and importance of feeling comfortable and independent each day. Most seniors want to continue living in their own homes as they age, and I’m here to help. I am Kendall Van Blarcom, the founder of Van Blarcom Consulting. My business uniquely serves seniors, caregivers, and other individuals in quite a few ways.
First, I offer senior personal consulting services and house calls to help with various issues. I can help with anxiety, irritability, trouble sleeping, fatigue, and other common complaints. Also, I provide handyman services for seniors. I can tackle tasks such as light plumbing and electrical work, organizing tasks, decor updates, and fixes for minor damage, among others. I can also help with running errands and other odd jobs.
Finally, I offer my personal support service virtually to anyone who needs a listening ear or sounding board. This means you do not need to live in my geographic service area. You do not need to leave your home, and you don’t even have to get changed out of your pajamas. Working with a mental health professional remotely makes it so easy to start feeling better. With many appointment options available, we can talk any time that’s convenient right over the phone.

A Shift Toward Virtual Support Services
I continue to serve my local personal support service clients in the Santa Rosa area. Additionally, I’ve recently evolved my practice away from traditional therapy and counseling and towards online personal consulting. Technology provides a wonderful way to reach clients wherever they are. It offers a level of convenience, privacy, and affordability that office sessions can't match. It also lets me reach out to seniors and the housebound, who might not otherwise be able to access my help. All you need is a telephone or computer!
For those in need of handyman services or mental support house calls, I do still offer both of those to my local service area. I service Santa Rosa and surrounding areas in Sonoma County, such as Rohnert Park, Oakmont, Larkfield-Wikiup, Cotati, and Sebastapol. Schedule your appointment from the House Calls page or contact me at 707-888-2013 to schedule handyman services.
