Sometimes having power over others feels good (for your ego), but do you take advantage of your own personal power? I am not talking about super-hero-type power, this is the power that you already have inside of you – do you use it?
Basically, there are two types of power:
1) Power that you can easily access
2) Power that you’re fearful of accessing
We’re not going to talk for hours about this situation, but you mentally, emotionally, physically, and even spiritually, have the ability to take control of any situation that gets tossed in your face.
However, you must take action to put that personal power into place.
This can be a scary thing to do. Then, you might want to ask yourself, “Why are you fearful about taking action to get what you want?”
Are you afraid of failing or afraid of succeeding? Maybe you don’t know, maybe both responses are correct! However, the main issue to pay attention to is the keyword—“afraid.” The word afraid implies a certain level of fear, and fear is the opposite of courage.
In order to take advantage of your own personal power – you have to have courage.
When you have courage inside of yourself to move through the day, that means that you are using your own internal power to control yourself, your emotions, and how you respond to others. If you struggle with using your courage to take advantage of your personal power just arrange a quick consult with me. I am an excellent listener and between both of you, I will be happy to help you get the courage to handle failure or success – and gain access to your personal power.
