Write for Us – Van Blarcom Consulting

If you are looking for guest blogging opportunities, submit your blog post to write for us.

Founded by Kendall Van Blarcom, Van Blarcom Consulting is based in California. We provide personal consulting to over 1,000 clients around the world. Counseling remotely is a proactive way to reach seniors and individuals who are housebound. Van Blarcom Consulting is focused on healing. If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, please submit your blog post with your interest to write for us.

First of all, know that mental health professionals and writers with information on wellness, healthy living and therapy are welcome to contribute. Hence, we are open to new submissions that explore the human experience and allow people to grow and heal. All content must be original.

What We Publish

Blog posts are published weekly. Each post is typically between 500–1,500 words, depending on the subject. All submissions should be well-considered examinations about how to improve the lives of our readers.

Furthermore, you don’t have to be an award-winning writer to be a contributor because we simply want people who have information to share. So, some contributors are writers while others will have health and wellness experiences to offer.

Below are a handful of topics to explore if you’d like to write for us:

  • Aging
  • Mental Health
  • Assisted Living
  • Depression
  • Loss of a Loved One
  • Self-improvement
  • Seniors and Retirement
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Personal Relationships
  • Worrying

Contributors can be from anywhere in the world, but all submissions must be in English. Also, submissions must have a theme. An example of this is seen in 6 Ways to Help to Prevent Alzheimer’s submitted by Meredith Rogers, R.N. The post is about preventing Alzheimer’s disease but it also touches on a variety of wellness suggestions, from exercise to vitamins. The post is about a large topic but, on the other hand, it offers practical advice.

Furthermore, we reserve the right to edit the imagery.  All infographics and images should be approximately 900px wide and 600px high
  • Almost all chosen posts are edited. Not for content, but for clarity and length. Editing keep the tone of the site consistent. Also, we retain the right to reject submissions that do not align with the values and purpose of the website.
  • Additionally, we do not provide full rewrites. So, please proofread your work carefully.
  • Most of all, plagiarism is never acceptable. So, attribute all quotes. Your blog post must be in your words.
